On May 2, 2018, a strategic cooperative agreement was signed in Shenzhen by the Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and AME Publishing Company, which announced both parties to jointly found an international academic journal Digestive Medicine Research (Dig Med Res; DMR).

This strategic cooperation is based on AME’s rich international experience in publishing and the solid clinical and scientific resources of the Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, with an aim to build an international platform for academic exchange in the field of digestive diseases. DMR will focus on basic, translational and clinical research on digestive diseases, and facilitate the academic exchanges between China and the other parts of the world.

Professor Yulong He, President of the Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and Editor-in-Chief of DMR, expressed his good hope that DMR is going to be built as the first-class international journal on digestive diseases in the shortest time through proactive communication.
